The terrain continues to rise further behind the Ulrikstoppen. To get to the highest point, you have to continue a long way, actually all the way to the edge of the Vidden, facing south of Arnadalen. There is Hauggjelsvarden which with its 674 meters is the highest point of the city mountains.
If you have come up on Ulriken, the journey further inwards towards Hauggjelsvarden is easy. Although the path does not go all the way, the terrain is easy to walk in and if the visibility is good it is not difficult to find the way. You follow the main path across the Vidden to a little past "Turnerhytten" and then you keep a little to the right of the path and aim at the well-visible cairn at the top.
