Turnerhytten is located 3.1 km from Ulriken. This is a nice trip for a family with young children, hikers come from many places and the trails go in many directions outside the cottage.
The cabin is open for dining every Saturday and Sunday between 11:00 and 16:00 in the summer, and closes at 15.00 in the winter. We have voluntary cabin guards every weekend who sell pancakes, coffee and chocolate and maybe some other exciting things.
In 2018, Turnerhytten is 110 years old, three cabins have been built over the years. The last two have been to Haukelandstikkene since the 50's and have continued the same stone walls as that time. A lightning strike in 1985 meant that a new cabin had to be built as it stands today with a large voluntary deposit.
